This is a Birdguides 'Notable Photo'!

This photograph was taken on the last of about six visits to Hungerford Marshes for this bird, the first two being unsuccessful. For this last visit, the light was good, and I spent some time trying to get shots from my preferred low camera position. From time to time the bird would catch small fish, and then consume them within a second or two. This was by far the best photo I managed to get of this 'action'!
