Impossible to get very
close to this bird, but this was a better attempt than
last week's efforts (see below) - brighter conditions
helped. The best of over 200 shots taken!

Not especially sharp,
but note the clear primary projection, and supercillium.

The best attempt of my
first visit to see this bird, taken in much duller
conditions than above, with lower 'scope mag.

This was a pic taken at
considerable distance, with the 'scope magnification
cranked up to almost x60. The result compares well with
my previous attempts at such high mags - the sunny
conditions must have helped, with a surprising absence of
heat shimmer.
