After visiting the waterfalls around Hawes on 6 October, the following day the weather had changed completely and was heavily overcast with rain later. Dull conditions do however make waterfall photography easier. Without a tripod to hand, this image was achieved by careful positioning of the camera on the bank, followed by use of the 2sec timer to delay the exposure. This small series of waterfalls is on Cray Gill, downstream from the White Lion pub (great lunches!) and is at about SD933785 - close to where the minor road from Hubberholme crosses the stream. Canon EOS R5 & EF 24-70mm f4 L lens (tripod mounted) with ND 64 filter |
