These waterfalls are very close to Uig on Skye, which was the departure point for our ferry to North Uist. So it seemed well worth the small excursion up a narrow path to visit and photograph them. This was on a dull day with a little rain. To reach these falls, we parked in the small triangular area in front of the old post office, where the road to the ferry forks off left. We then walked further along the upper road (not the one to the ferry) and then very soon turned right at a gap in the wall, where there was a small sign. There was then a narrow path that initially went fairly steep upwards, and then down again to reach the falls. Canon EOS R5 & EF 24-70mm f4 L lens (tripod mounted) with ND 64 filter |
