	Starling murmuration, Otmoor 19 November 2016 Decided to hang around until roost time today. There was a brief murmuration just before many birds dived down into the reeds - as shown here. Later birds simply went straight in. I didn't see any raptors attempting to get an easy meal although the Hen Harrier was briefly reported in the distance. Click to enlarge

	Hobby, Otmoor 24 September 2016 The speed this bird was moving is well illustrated by this image which is only 1 frame behind the one above, i.e. 1/10sec! The 7D Mk II AF has done a pretty good job in this case, considering the x1.4TC was on the lens.
