On New Year's day, those in Northern Scotland were treated to a great display just as it got dark. Unfortunately in Southern England it was cloudy and it didn't clear until around 20:00. By this time activity had greatly reduced, leaving only a very moderate display.

This image was taken with a Canon R5 and the Canon 16mm f2.8 lens, using 10 sec exposures. I spent nearly an hour here, collecting 250+ shots for a timelapse. The level of activity did't really warrant all the time I spent processing the resulting images!
